Concealed Carry Foundations: Drawing from
Concealment & Real-World Readiness
Course Overview
This small-group course is built to meet you where you are in your concealed carry journey.
Whether you carry:
- Inside the waistband (IWB)
- Appendix
- Outside the waistband (OWB)
- Off-body (bag carry)
You will train with your actual setup, not a one-size-fits-all system.
The course begins with structured dry-fire in a classroom setting, then progresses into live-fire drills on the range. Alongside firearm skills, this class emphasizes:
- Situational awareness
- Verbal de-escalation
- Movement under pressure
- Integration of non-lethal tools
This is about building a system that works when it matters.
Off-Body (Bag Carry) Requirements (Read Carefully)
If you plan to train with an off-body carry method, your setup must meet the following:
- A hard, rigid holster covering the trigger guard (Kydex or equivalent)
- The firearm must be stored in a dedicated, separate compartment
- No loose firearms inside bags — everything must be secured and structured
Holster Requirements
For safety, all holsters must:
- Be hard-sided (Kydex or similar material)
- Fully cover the trigger guard with a rigid barrier
- Be designed specifically for your firearm
- Attach securely to a belt or structured system
Not allowed:
- Sock holsters
- Sticky holsters
- Soft/fabric holsters without rigid trigger protection
- Belly bands or unsecured fabric-only systems
If your gear doesn’t meet these standards, you will not be permitted to run it on the line and replacement gear will be issued if available.
Gear Rental (If Needed)
If you need to borrow gear, it can be provided.
