Utah Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) Class

Concealed Carry Essentials SERIES Student Add-On: $25

The Armory’s Utah Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) class is designed to give students everything needed to confidently complete their permit application, including clear instruction, proper documentation, and a solid understanding of Utah law.

This course may be taken as a standalone class or as a discounted add-on for students enrolled in the Concealed Carry Essentials Series.

In one focused four-hour classroom session, students receive the required education and have their application documentation properly signed off, allowing them to complete the remaining steps without confusion or guesswork.

What the Class Includes:

• Comprehensive overview of Utah firearms and self-defense laws

• Practical discussion of real-world self-defense considerations

• Instruction on safe loading and unloading procedures

• Guidance on selecting an appropriate firearm for personal defense

• Legal considerations for transporting firearms

• Overview of continued training opportunities at The Armory

During the class, instructors walk students through the entire permit process and complete the required training sign-off.

After class, students will:

• Complete fingerprinting at an approved fingerprinting location

• Submit their application directly to the State of Utah

Once submitted, the permit will be processed and mailed by the state.

Provisional Permits

Utah offers a Provisional Concealed Weapons Permit for eligible individuals ages 18–20. Provisional applicants may attend this class, either as a standalone course or as part of the Concealed Carry Essentials Series, to complete the required training and instructor sign-off.

The Armory provides a professional, structured learning environment focused on safety, clarity, and responsible firearms ownership. Whether taken independently or alongside the Concealed Carry Essentials Series, students leave informed, confident, and prepared to move forward correctly.
