  a straightforward\, hands-on introduction to using a handgun safely and e
 ffectively. No experience is required. We start in the classroom covering 
 the basics: firearm safety\, how a pistol works\, parts of the gun\, how a
 mmunition functions\, and how to safely load\, unload\, and clear a handgu
 n. The rest of the class is spent on the range putting those basics to wor
 k. Students will learn proper stance\, grip\, sight alignment\, and trigge
 r control while shooting under close instructor supervision. Coaching is p
 ractical and focused on building safe habits\, confidence\, and solid fund
 amentals. By the end of the class\, students will understand how a pistol 
 operates and be able to safely and confidently shoot a handgun.
